PRODUCT OVERVIEW
This is a small band pass filter centered at 900 MHz with a bandwidth of 30 MHz
It's used to pass signals in the frequency range 885 MHz to 915 MHz.
Typical insertion loss of less than 3 dB in the pass band. This filter has excellent rejection specifications, provides power handling of up to a maximum +10 dBm and has an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C.
APPLICATIONS
📡 Cellular (primary use in many regions)
In much of the world, this range overlaps cellular uplink bands, meaning it’s used by phones transmitting to base stations.
GSM / LTE / NB-IoT uplink
Commonly part of GSM 900 uplink
Typical pairing: Uplink: ~880–915 MHz; Downlink: ~925–960 MHz
Used by: Legacy GSM, LTE Band 8 (uplink portion), NB-IoT / LTE-M in some deployments
📶 ISM-adjacent / Industrial & telemetry (limited, region-specific)
While true ISM in many regions starts at 902–928 MHz, the upper part of 885–915 MHz may host: Licensed industrial telemetry, SCADA links, Utility metering backhaul, Private trunked radio (in some countries)
These are licensed, not unlicensed ISM devices.
SPECIFICATIONS
Passband: 900 MHz +/- 15 MHz
Frequency Typical Attenuation
750 MHz > 40 dB
855 MHz > 35 dB
945 MHz > 25 dB
1050 MHz > 40 dB
NOTES
- The filter uses SMA-F PCB edge mount connectors.
- Maximum RF input signal Level: +10 dBm
- Max DC voltage on In/Out port = 3 VDC
- Consider using a Low Noise Amplifier before this filter to reduce the noise figure
