PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The GPIO Labs 433 MHz Filtered Low Noise Amplifier boosts weak signals in the 430–436 MHz range while rejecting strong out-of-band interference - cellular, LTE, UHF, 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz ISM traffic - that can swamp a receiver's front end in this crowded spectrum.

The design delivers 20 dB of gain across the 430–436 MHz passband with <1 dB noise figure, giving weak-signal 433 MHz and 70cm systems the sensitivity boost needed to pull signal out of the noise floor. Rated for -40°C to +85°C operation, with flexible power input via DC (+3.3V to +16V) or micro-USB.

APPLICATIONS

  • 70cm amateur radio reception (430–440 MHz band, Region 1/3) — voice, repeater, and digital modes (DMR, D-STAR, C4FM)
  • Amateur satellite downlink monitoring (435–436 MHz portion of the satellite sub-band)
  • LoRa and sub-GHz IoT sensor networks
  • TPMS diagnostics and automotive RF research (EU-market tire pressure sensors at 433.92 MHz)
  • Remote keyless entry (RKE), garage door receivers, and 433 MHz smart-home/security sensors
  • Wireless weather stations, telemetry, and SDR monitoring of the 433 MHz ISM band
