PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The GPIO Labs 430–436 MHz Filtered Dual LNA delivers 40 dB of gain for applications needing significant amplification of weak 433/434 MHz signals, while rejecting out-of-band interference from cellular, LTE, UHF, and 915 MHz/2.4 GHz ISM traffic.
Dual-stage design achieves <1 dB noise figure across the 430–436 MHz passband. Built-in ESD protection diode guards the front-end from static damage, and an onboard bias tee feature is available (requires user-soldered inductor). Rated for -40°C to +85°C operation.
Note: As a high-gain LNA, this unit can oversaturate sensitive receivers in strong-signal environments. If you're working with a already-sensitive SDR or receiver front-end, consider the 20 dB gain version instead.
APPLICATIONS
- Long-range 70cm amateur radio reception (430–440 MHz band, Region 1/3) where extra gain compensates for cable loss or weak signal paths
- Amateur satellite downlink monitoring (435–436 MHz portion of the satellite sub-band)
- Long-range LoRa and sub-GHz IoT links with significant path loss
- Remote sensor networks, telemetry, and weak-signal 433 MHz SDR monitoring where a 20 dB LNA isn't enough headroom
- TPMS and automotive RF research requiring extra sensitivity
