AIS Bandpass Filter 160-162 MHz

Regular price $33.00

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This is a 3rd order AIS bandpass filter with excellent sideband rejection. This product is ideally suited for AIS receiver applications at 162 MHz*. In the absence of a bandpass filter, strong signals in adjacent bands such as FM can saturate the receiver. This filter is also available in a version with an enclosure.

APPLICATIONS

The AIS band (Automatic Identification System) carries ship location and identity beacons at 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz.
Filtering out adjacent VHF marine and pager interference dramatically improves reception quality.

The filter can be used with AIS receivers, SDR setups, marine tracking, ship monitoring systems, embedded telemetry, and RF front-ends for coastal stations.
