PRODUCT OVERVIEW
This is a compact GNSS bandpass filter covering GPS L1-L5, GLONASS, BeiDou/COMPASS, and Navic in a single 1100–1700 MHz passband.
Insertion loss is under 3 dB, with out-of-band attenuation greater than 25 dB from 50 MHz–1 GHz and 2–3 GHz — enough to keep cellular, LTE, UHF, and nearby ISM-band interference from degrading reception of already-weak GNSS signals.
This variant includes a DC bypass: it passes DC voltage from your GNSS receiver straight through the filter and out the RF input port to the antenna.
If your setup powers an active GNSS antenna over the same coax that carries the signal back — which most active antennas do — this filter lets that power reach the antenna without needing a separate bias tee in the chain.
The filter uses SMA-F connectors, handles up to +33 dBm input, and operates across a -40°C to +85°C range.
APPLICATIONS
GNSS signals arrive extremely weak — often 20–30 dB below the noise floor before despreading even helps. Strong nearby sources like cellular, LTE, UHF, and 915 MHz/2.4 GHz ISM-band transmitters can desensitize a receiver or LNA even when they're not close in frequency, costing you acquisition margin and tracking reliability you can't get back downstream.
This filter rejects that interference before it reaches your receive chain, while passing DC through to keep your active antenna powered.
Typical uses:
- GNSS reception in weak-signal environments (rooftop, under canopy, indoor-adjacent installs)
- Protecting a GNSS receiver or LNA from cellular, LTE, UHF, and ISM-band interference
- Filtering ahead of an active antenna without adding a separate bias tee to the chain
Not sure if you need the DC bypass version? If your GNSS receiver powers the antenna over the same coax as the signal — the standard setup for most active GPS/GNSS antennas — you need this one. If your system doesn't inject power that way, the standard version without DC bypass is the right choice instead, and costs the same.
