PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This is a small CBRS / LTE Band 48 / n48 5G band pass filter centered at 3625 MHz and a bandwidth of 150 MHz. The band extends from 3550 MHz to 3700 MHz.

Typical insertion loss of less than 4 dB in the pass band. This filter has excellent rejection specifications and provides power handling of up to a maximum +24 dBm and has an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C.
 

APPLICATIONS

The 3550–3700 MHz band is CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) — a shared, tiered spectrum system rather than a simple licensed band, and understanding that structure explains why filtering matters here.

Three tiers share this spectrum:

  • Incumbents (highest priority) — U.S. naval radar and Fixed Satellite Service earth stations, protected across the full band, with FSS specifically concentrated in 3600–3650 MHz
  • Priority Access License (PAL) — auctioned, county-level licenses, confined to 3550–3650 MHz
  • General Authorized Access (GAA) — license-free, lowest priority, with 3650–3700 MHz reserved exclusively for GAA use

 

 

This tiered-sharing structure is exactly why out-of-band rejection matters for CBRS equipment. This filter rejects energy outside the 3550–3700 MHz window before it reaches your receiver, keeping your CBRS link clean regardless of what else is active nearby.
